Boca Grande Part 1

the kids found all sorts of treasures at the state park/island we took the boat to...
One day Brians dad took us around on his boat. First stop was a state park that pretty much just has beaches and a state park/campground. Since you can only get there by boat it was pretty deserted. SO beautiful! We staked out a spot and spend a few hours exploring and enjoying the beach.

You take a tram from the dock down to the beach.
Sunrise outside our room. Ok, so these are a little out of order...
I'm not being to picky in uploading in the opposite direction. I'm just trying to get everything uploaded so they may be a little confusing order wise. Boca was absolutely beautiful. Such a cool, quaint place. Not really what I expected, it was better. Once you cross over the toll bridge onto Boca Grande/Gasparilla you feel as if you have gotton off a plane somewere. We had such a great time visiting with Hill and the family. It was so good to see them and spend time together. Brians dad was so hospitable and showed us a great time. We spent a whole day exploring on the boat and seeing the sights. Spent a lot of beach time and some pool side. We enjoyed good food and good companionship. We spend some time just with Mario, Aubrey, Stella and I. It was such a nice trip all round. I still could have had even more time with them but I am glad for what we had and a great time was had by all! The beaches were gorgeous, the town was so quaint and not at all touristy. I would definately go back! Part 2 to come...
