Water Baby

Stella officially LOVES the pool! She kicks her legs and splashes her hands. Looks like we'll be making more trips down to the pool!

Happy Fathers Day!

She's now pulling herself up on her knees and feet on anything she can.
She was looking at herself in this little mirror. Then she kept putting her face on it, not quite sure what she was doing but it was really cute. It looked like she was kissing herself in the mirror.

I hope everyone had as great a Fathers Day as we did. We just putzed around in the morning then Mario's dad came over to bbq steaks. I made some apps then we had steaks, cucumber salad, red potato wedges and corn. Topped off by key lime pie. I'm stuffed. We had a nice time and good conversation. It was nice to just hang out. I had a book made of pictures of Mario and Stella over her first 6 months. He loved it SO much. We had a really good day and I appreciate the special relationship that Mario and Stella have and am so thankful for that. They love each other so much, I love seeing her light up when he walks in the room. It's hard on holidays to not be able to spend it with family being so far away. Whether it is birthdays, mothers day, etc. So happy fathers day to my dad also!

Little Rascal

She obviously has her mothers reading habits...
So she was supposed to be going down for a nap earlier and I stuck my head in to check on her. This is what I found...looks like it's time to lower the crib mattress again. Grrreeeeat. She just started crawling recently now she's already pulling herself up!!!???

Mario's catch! Fishy fishy!

Getting in to everything!
Well Stellas' teeth have finally come in, after 3 months of teething! Her 2 bottom teeth have popped through and are slowly working their way up. They aren't much above her gums right now but seem to be coming in slowly. She's started crawling on all 4's but still mostly pulls herself on her tummy as she is faster that way. She said baba this week which is a new word for her, she babbles a lot but says mama and dada pretty clear. The baba was very clear instead of just a babble so we'll see if she picks it up and continues to say it!

A little cuteness

Teaching Stella to bake a cake. Ok, Ok from a mix. ;)
We went to the beach with our friends again this week.

Stella wanted to trade a dorito for her bottle but Maddie wasn't falling for it.
I was downstairs vaccuming and Stella was hanging out with Aubrey for a few. I came up and Stella was eating Aubreys' bracelet and had the remains of one of Aubreys shirts on her head. She's like Aubreys puppy to dress up! :)
