First trip to the beach!

Daddy likes to make me laugh!

We went to Nana's for Turkey Day, gobble gobble! I sure love to gobble, gobble my bottle!

We went with Daddy to Panama City for work for the day. I was great during the car ride and even got to go to the beach and put my feet in the sand. It was about 70 degrees and the breeze felt to good! I like to feel it on my face!
I don't know why Daddy has this strange thing over his nose???

Water Baby and Grandma Cathy

It was great to have Grandma Cathy here for the week! She loved to play with me, cuddle and feed me!

I am definately going to be a water baby like both my parents! I love the bath. It doesn't even have to be the bath! Wash my face with a warm washcloth and I'll purrrrrr! I can't wait to go to the beach!

Happy Birthday to Nana!

Stella wanted to send out a Happy Birthday to Nana! It was actually last week but they are on a cruise this week so we won't be celebrating until they get back. Stella just wanted her to know we wish her a Happy Birthday!

Grandma Cathy is visiting from Seattle this week and brought my old baby ring for Stella. She likes her bling! :)

Where have the days gone???

Ok, I am not nearly as good at multi-tasking time management then I thought I was...the days are flying by. There are people I keep meaning to call (Hill & Heidi). I think I am at between 3-5 days behind on returning calls. Some days are good and she sleeps a lot, which I take advantage of by getting stuff done. Then on the other hand she sleeps all day=awake all night, so there has to be a good balance. Some days are harder, like today. This morning she threw up on me to be followed by eating a lot and not taking a long nap. It is almost 7 and the day has FLOWN by and I have got nothing on my list done. I have been meaning to mop the kitchen and clean our shower for 3 days. Enough complaining! She is doing great, has been sleeping well. Getting up once or twice, but more important going to sleep fairly quickly after eating and getting her diaper changed. We're maybe up for an hour. My mom gets here tom. night and we are excited for that. I haven't updated in days. I hope everyone is doing good and sorry if you have called and I am being a slacker about calling back...please don't take it personal. I'll get this down eventually! ;) Mario's family got me the book The Baby Whisperer which I have heard from so many people is a great book so I am going to try to read it when my mom is here. Happy Birthday to little Stella, she's 2 weeks old today! :) It feels like she's been here forever at least a lot longer then 2 weeks!

Finally....sleep!!!

I just noticed today her eyelashes are growing and look like they are going to be dark and SO pretty!

Stella voted yesterday! Everyone was absolutely doting over her. It was so cute! No matter who you voted for, it was so amazing to see the looks on the crowds faces during Obama's acceptance speech. In my lifetime it was something I have never seen before.Aunt Hannah and Uncle Joey gave me this outfit and it looks SO cute on me!

Well Stella has slept through the night the last two nights! (keeping fingers crossed!) She's gone to bed around 11 and woken up once between 4-6 then gone back to sleep until between 9-10. Oh my goodness what a difference sleep makes. Today was the first day I actually felt human again! Keep your fingers crossed it continues!!!

Pooped

Stella has her days and night all mixed up and likes to wake up at 11 pm and stay up until around 4:30 am. Needless to say I am a tad tired. It would be nice if she would at least sleep in 3 hour intervals but during the middle of the night if you put her down she will wake up and start crying within 15 minutes. During the day of course she is an angel. If anyone has any ingenius ideas please call me and fill me in. We've been trying different things every night hopefully she will just naturally adjust...and soon. Things are getting a tad foggy. :) Other then that we just fall more in love with her cute little face every day. We are so glad that she is here and happy and healthy. We already have taken a ton of pictures and I want to go back and post some more from the hospital etc, hopefully in the next day or so. I haven't even checked my email in days. The most I've been on the computer is for a few minutes to update pictures here so everyone far away can see her cute little self. I know I sure can't get enough! Well, except in the middle of the night.
